We are so excited to announce our intermediate computer skills and smartphone classes starting now at every public library in the state. The schedule is updated frequently, so check back often!

The computer classes are focused on spreadsheets, word processing, and advanced email training.

The smart phone classes are on smart phone basics and students are encouraged to bring their own devices (tablets/iPads are compatible with this class as well!)

Are These Classes Free?

Yes, the classes are all 100% free! The Hawaii State Public Library System is partnering with the State of Hawaii’s Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Workforce Development Division to provide these courses. Funding was provided by a U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration grant.

Who Is Teaching These Classes?

The class instructors will be members of the Mapunawai Inc team, a registered 501c(3) non-profit in the state of Hawaii. We have taught thousands of students, and encourage anyone wanting to learn to join us!

A partnership of Hawaii State Public Library System and the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Workforce Development Division. This project is fully funded by a grant from the U.S.

Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration in the award amount of $479,064.
